WYRUX SM-2430 Battery-Powered Press Tool — the 24 kN compact tool for the North American jaw range

The SM-2430 is the 24 kN member of the WYRUX compact press tool family: 30 mm stroke, a 4-second cycle, 2.3 kg without battery, and two 2.5 Ah batteries in the case. Where the 19 kN SM-1930 is built around the metric jaw range, the SM-2430 is the tool for crews working to North American press profiles.

The Jaw Holder Decides What Fits

The practical difference between the SM-2430 and the SM-1930 is less about force than about the jaw holder. The yoke on the SM-2430 is machined to the North American jaw interface, so the tool accepts jaws and rings made for the press tools US crews already run and already keep on the van — Ridgid, Milwaukee and DeWalt among them. The same holder also takes European jaw systems, including Rothenberger, Novopress and REMS, so one tool body covers both the inch-profile fittings common across North America and the European systems that turn up on imported equipment.

That is what the jaw list on this page reflects: the SM-2430 is supplied against the North American profiles — Propress, Pureflow, Megapress, RLS and Propress angle jaws — rather than the metric V, M, TH, U and SV profiles used on the 19 kN family. TWO years of warranty

WYRUX grants the full statutory warranty of 24 months or 30000 times on all new pressing devices and tools as well as other accessories. The warranty period always begins at the time of delivery and must be proven in case of doubt using purchase documents. Batteries and chargers are excluded. Here the warranty period is 12 months from the date of purchase.

During the warranty period, the warranty covers the repair of all damage or defects in the products that are due to material or manufacturing defects.

ONE year warranty extension for pressing devices, intermediate jaws and pressing slings

WYRUX grants a one-year extended warranty for all new pressing devices, intermediate jaws and pressing collars if they have been serviced at least every 12 months by WYRUX or a specialist workshop authorized by WYRUX.
