WYRUX SM-1930B Battery-Powered Press Tool — the updated 19 kN-class tool for daily pipework

The SM-1930B is the latest version of the compact press tool family — a battery-powered tool for system suppliers, distributors and professional installers who press pipe every working day. It presses stainless steel pipe from 12–28 mm, copper from 12–35 mm and PEX/multilayer pipe from 16–40 mm, with an in-line ergonomic grip that keeps heavy daily pressing comfortable, and it runs on the two 2.5 Ah batteries supplied with the tool. Compact enough for one-handed operation, including overhead work.

What Changed in the B Version

Brushless motor replaces the brushed motor of the original SM-1930 — the main hardware change in the B version. With no carbon brushes to replace, it keeps service simple for high-use crews.
Refined drive and release system for smoother, more consistent press cycles.
Same trusted pressing range: stainless 12–28 mm, copper 12–35 mm, PEX and multilayer 16–40 mm.
In-line grip carried over from the original — the ergonomic layout installers already know.

Designed Around Real Pressing Work

Radiator loops, hot and cold water lines, floor heating manifolds — the SM-1930B covers the pipe sizes most common in residential and light commercial hydronics. Its compact body reaches into tight service spaces, and with the right jaw profile it works with fittings from all major press systems.

The press head rotates through 180°, so the tool can be lined up with the fitting even in extremely tight work spaces. A redundant power cut-off and a pressing-force monitoring system with an LED display give real-time feedback on the tool’s operating status. A built-in light illuminates the pressing point for work in low light.

Service Notes for Long Life

Keep the jaw pivot and the tool body free of dust and moisture, and store the press tool in its case between jobs. With basic care the SM-1930B delivers the extended service life it was designed for — thousands of joints across stainless, copper and PEX installations before any servicing is needed.

If your fittings use a different press profile, the SM-1930B accepts the full compact-tool jaw range — including NOVOPRESS, ROTHENBERGER, REMS, VIEGA and Geberit pressing jaws and pressing rings — so one tool body covers both metal and plastic pipe systems. Every unit ships 100% function-tested with a two-year or 30,000-cycle warranty; ask about matched jaw kits and volume pricing for contractor fleets.

TWO years of warranty

WYRUX grants the full statutory warranty of 24 months or 30000 times on all new pressing devices and tools as well as other accessories. The warranty period always begins at the time of delivery and must be proven in case of doubt using purchase documents. Batteries and chargers are excluded. Here the warranty period is 12 months from the date of purchase.

During the warranty period, the warranty covers the repair of all damage or defects in the products that are due to material or manufacturing defects.

ONE year warranty extension for pressing devices, intermediate jaws and pressing slings

WYRUX grants a one-year extended warranty for all new pressing devices, intermediate jaws and pressing collars if they have been serviced at least every 12 months by WYRUX or a specialist workshop authorized by WYRUX.
